2019 Cricket World Cup Schedule in Afghanistan Time (AFT)

The 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup is scheduled from May 30 to July 14, 2019 in the United Kingdom. Ten teams will take part in the competition and one of them is Afghanistan. Although, Afghan team is not very well known for their past records, however, it is equally true that they have immense potential and they surely want to bring out that potential during the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The Afghanistan team will play their first match against mighty Australia on June 1, 2019 at Bristol.

Now, let’s talk a bit about the tournament. The Cricket World Cup is an international event that takes place once in a period of four years which is organized by the international governing body i.e. ICC (International Cricket Council). In the 2019 Cricket World Cup, ten teams will compete to win the prestigious world cup trophy. These teams are pooled in a single group and before proceeding to the knockout stage of the tournament each team will play one match against all the other nine teams participating in the competition.

The Afghan fans would surely want to follow all the games of the tournament and their teams in particular. However, the matches will be played as per British Summer Time which is one hour ahead of GMT while the Afghanistan Time is four and half hours ahead of the GMT. Accordingly, there is a time difference of three and half hour time difference arises which might make fans to determine exact match timings of the 2019 Cricket World Cup.  Therefore, keeping the Afghanistan fans in mind we have decided to provide a complete match schedule of all the 48 matches of the 2019 Cricket World Cup in Afghanistan Time (AFT).

The first game of the 2019 Cricket World Cup as per Afghanistan Time will be played on May 30, 2019, at 2:00 PM between South Africa and hosts England at the Oval in London while the final match will be contested between the winners of match 46 and 47 on July 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM AFT at Lord’s in London.
