The Quarter Finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be played on the 9^th and 10^th December 2022. The 8 winners from Round of 16 will compete in this round for a place in the Semi-Final of the tournament. The round will be played in the single-elimination format which means if a team loses its match, it will be out of contention for the world cup. The winner of each match of this round will advance to the Semi-finals stage of the tournament.

During the Quarter Finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 if a match ends in a draw after normal playing time then both the teams will again play in the extra time of two halves of 15 minutes each and if the winner is still undecided then penalty shoot-out will be used to determine the winner.
