Today we are going to give a very useful piece of information for cricket lovers living in Mauritius. As it is known fact that there are a number of Indians living in Mauritius and they would surely want to follow each and every match of the upcoming 2019 Cricket World Cup which is scheduled from May 30, 2019 to July 14, 2019 in England and Wales (United Kingdom). There will be a total 48 matches scheduled to be played across 11 venues.
What is ICC Cricket World Cup?
Cricket World Cup is a quadrennial tournament in which top cricketing nations compete to win the prestigious trophy. The tournament is also known as ICC Cricket World Cups as they are organized by the International Governing body of Cricket i.e. ICC or International Cricket Council. ICC has organized 11 world cups prior to the world cup schedule in 2019 in the UK.
Mauritius is a beautiful island nation in the Indian Ocean and a number of Asian (in particular Indian) lives in the country. For the cricket lovers living in Mauritius, we have decided to provide the Match Schedule of 2019 Cricket World Cup in Mauritius Time. As the tournament is organized in the UK, the matches will start as per British Summer Time which is one hour ahead of GMT while the Mauritius Time (MUT) is four hours ahead of GMT. Therefore, we have converted the match kick-off timing of all 48 matches of Cricket World Cup 2019 to Mauritius Time (MUT).
The first match of the 2019 cricket world cup will be played on May 30, 2019, at 1:30 PM Mauritius Time between South Africa and hosts England at The Oval in London while the final match will be played on July 14, 2019 at 1:30 PM MUT at Lord’s in London.
