The 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled from September 19, 2020, to November 10, 2020, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This will be the third edition of the tournament when it will be hosted outside India. Although, the tournament was originally scheduled to be held in India, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic the tournament has been re-scheduled in UAE. This year Dream 11, a fantasy sports company has become the title sponsor of the tournament, therefore, the competition will be officially known as Dream 11 IPL.
IPL 2020 will feature 8 teams and the matches will be played in Double Round-robin and Knockout format. The tournament will last for 53 days and matches will be played across three venues namely Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
IPL is a cricket league of India which is organized by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the matches in the league are played in 20 over format. Mumbai Indians has been the most successful team in the previous tournaments with four titles to its name, while Chennai Super Kings won three, Kolkata Knight Riders won two titles and Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Deccan Chargers have won one title each.
IPL is one of the popular sporting events which has its fan base across the globe and Pakistan is no exception to it. As the tournament will take place in UAE, the matches will be played as per UAE Standard Time which is four hours ahead of GMT while the Pakistan Standard Time is five hours ahead of GMT. Accordingly, there will be a one-hour time difference between match kick-off time and Pakistani Time. Therefore, to keep things simple for Pakistani cricket lovers, we have provided the complete fixture of all the matches of IPL 2020 in Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).
The first match will be played on September 19, 2020, at 07:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time between Mumbai Indians (MI) Vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in UAE while the final match of the IPL 2020 will be played on November 10, 2020, at 7:00 PM PKT.
